Emmalee Clibertad

EmmaLee Constant has been studying Traditional West African Dance for 11 years. Over the years she has had the opportunity to study under master teaches from Guinea, Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal and Congo. She has dance in Multiple community organized troops and has study and performed in Las Vegas and Oakland. She currently teaches community classes and is the Instructor of West African Dance at Humboldt State University. While an understanding of the step is giving each time she teaches the main importance of every class is to connect with a deeper part of oneself through body, mind, ancestral memory/remembering and the space that exist when we allow ourselves to open up, drop all our walls and free our beings
