21 Dec Embodied Racial Healing to Weave the New World
We live in polarizing times.
Times that have challenged us in unimaginable ways.
Times that have wreaked havoc on our mind, body and soul.
Times that have caused us to question everything and scream in anger.
Times that have caused us to be afraid for ourselves, our children, our world.
Every time we read the latest headline our hearts sink a little deeper as we wonder, “Where are we headed?”
In these times, we need one another more than ever.
Embodied Racial Healing To Weave The New World will center the voices and stories of racialized folks in attendance, Black feminist leadership and Decolonial Leadership praxis. It’s an invitation open to ALL to explore how our bodies and our leadership have been shaped by our culture and systems of domination and how we can unmap from dominant narratives that keep us bound. This is about doing the rooted work so that we can heal and get free individually and collectively.
Please bring a journal, a (pen)cil, and a personal item that intuitively speaks to you for our community altar.
Embodied Racial Healing To Weave The New World will be shared by Therese Cator.
