Parts of our beings, previously dormant, wounded, or suppressed may rise to the surface. We enter a space free from the many stimulants, toxins, and comforts our systems are used to. We find new access to the realm of intuition, our dreams, and deepest fears. What we find may surprise, scare, or delight us. This class provides an in-depth look at why we have come to this gathering, what we need to fulfill our purpose while here, and helps us answer the questions: Who am I? and What is my healing path? We will be guided through introspection and journaling exercises and gifted...

All are welcome, but this class will center queer, trans and fat individuals. It will be a gentle yoga class, accessible to beginners. Yoga often caters to thin, white, young, cis-het women and this class will be different. It will encourage you to think deeply and curiously about your own identities by doing grounding techniques & gentle movements. It will ask practitioners to go deep within, supported by laughter, to question their own assumptions about themselves and others. Not for the light faint at heart, but definitely for those seeking spiritual community in a nourishing, loving environment. Self study, Svadyaha, is at the root of this class as are the 8 limbs of yoga. Expect some chanting, movement and deep relaxation. Gather props: blocks (or books),...
