Baskets are beings. Within their woven bodies they hold your stories. They teach you that you too, are woven, that you tell a story, that we are vessels. When we allow these baskets to manifest, we can let go of ideas and attachments about what we think we can or cannot do. If we are good or not good enough. We can instead give our attention and our hands to gently provide shape for the baskets to emerge into. They like it when you speak sweetly to them. Aiyah started her cheesemaking journey 14 years ago after moving to a rural town in southern Oregon where farm fresh, raw goat milk was available. Coming from a background of living on the land, gardening and cooking, it was a natural fit to learn the art of cheesemaking. Aiyah took some classes and began making cheese at home. 6 years ago she started making cheese professionally at a local winery & creamery. She is now the head cheesemaker at the creamery where she helps to crafts a dozen different kinds of cheeses from both organic cow and goat’s milk.   Aiyah Geier will be offering Making Fresh Mozzarella and Burrata....

Amber Marie Deen is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and multidisciplinary artist whose work focuses on the interconnectedness of the earth, it’s inhabitants, and Spirit. Ann Nguyen is a homesteader with a love of flowers. She lives with her partner and their dog in Wiliams, Oregon. Her passion for gardening and flowers began at Camp Joy Gardens, where she apprenticed for nearly two years. There she learned the art of cultivating numerous flowers, foliage, and seed pods, how to dry them, and how to shape them into beautiful, everlasting flower wreaths. A year after leaving Camp Joy to join her partner WWOOFing in Washington, she found herself still dreaming of flowers.
