WEAVERS SONG CIRCLE: Friday 8pm   The Spirt Weavers Song Circle is one of the highlights of the gathering. We join together to open our hearts and voices in circle and safety with one another. For some this is our calling and for many the song circle is where that first spark of memory ignites that we are indeed born to sing. The voice what gives freedom and healing, The childlike innocence that is found again, the Voice being our very own birth rite. The songs sung around the fire are ones that are imbedded in our beings as a simple way to return back to the gathering throughout the year. A simple way to honor those who have passed along these songs before us. We invite...

For the artists and makers of Spirit Weavers who are not vending in the marketplace, we also offer our trade blanket on Sunday which is a free space to set up your goods and is always a favorite event at the gathering. This is a great way to give and receive offerings with other maker sisters, with or without the exchange of money. Many moons ago, tribes came together to trade crafts, food and supplies between one another, and the Spirit Weavers trade blanket is a beautiful  opportunity to practice the lost art of the trade and barter system. We encourage and support you in bringing the fruits of your creative labor to share! The trade blanket isn't only for trade and barter but participants accept cash as well.  We...

Returning for another year honoring the sacred ritual of tea, The Tea Temple at Spirit Weavers will be back celebrating with ceremony in the heart of the redwoods. The tradition of tea is something that we hold very dear as a beautiful way to greet the day, and commune together in a ritual of preparation and gratitude. Whether you are joining us for the sunrise and your morning meditation or taking in the leaf as the day comes to a close, the Tea Temple is always a sacred and nourishing time for all. We cherish this space, we cherish these women and we cherish the tea.  Cha Dao-The Way of Tea Inside the Tea Temple it is 6am and the first meditation is about to be served. One...

In a time where we have forgotten so much, the value of true elders cannot be underestimated as they serve as the storytellers, the lineage holders, the initiators of the young, and the holders of vision. These are the ones who have gathered a rich array of life experience through laying the foundations of the paths that we now walk upon, and have the gift to distill that experience into wisdom with a willingness to share with their community. We are thrilled and honored to welcome many wonderful elders to this year’s Spirit Weavers Gathering! Some notes of conduct: There will be a designated housing space for the use of our elders this year, the Crone’s Nest. Please respect this space as a private residence, and do...

Hey mamas , As we have begun the vision of expansion within Spirit Weavers, we have chosen to hold space for mama’s at the gathering in the form of the Mama Bear Lodge. We created this space with the intention of support and care. However, we are always learning about the best way to hold up our mamas and every year without fail we face the question from several mama’s of weather they should bring their little babes to the gathering or not. While this question must be answered individually it is our hope that by addressing what we can offer to the mama’s out there, we can create a clear picture for you to base the decision of bringing your babe . Mama Bear Lodge   The lodge...

Every meal throughout the gathering is complete with our favorite drink, TEA! This year, we will have a beautiful tea room in the main lodge which will be our tea house!  With each meal we will have several variety of herbal blends carefully curated by our tea fairies Koa and Melissa.  Both sisters have spent many years with these sacred plants either serving in tea houses or ceremonies.   We feel so very grateful to have these sisters with us again, always lovingly serving up the most nourishing teas. Tea will always be available during the gathering if you feel called to sip! Koa Cassel Feiss "Tea is a space I find wholeness.  The roundness of the cup, the warmth of the water, the life of the...

The Tea Temple at Spirit Weavers is one of our most treasured spaces. Whether you are joining us for the sunrise and your morning meditation or taking in the leaf as the day comes to a close, it is always a sacred and nourishing time for all. We cherish this space, we cherish these women and we cherish the tea. // Cha Dao-“The Way of Tea” Inside the Tea Temple… It is 6am and the first meditation is about to be served. One by one, women quietly enter in to the subtle tones of a flute softly teasing the air and the whispers of a kettle dancing atop the fire. The Wellness Tent at Spirit Weavers Gathering is a safe haven for emergency first aid of the body and spirit. We are offering each woman an opportunity to support their immediate ailments and needs with Earth based plant medicine; extracts, syrups, topical salves, flower essences. This includes a fully stocked pantry of western medical supplies. At Spirit Weavers women have the opportunity to reconnect with traditional skills while living and sleeping close to the Earth for five days. For many women this reintegration into nature can bring up everything, from practical discomforts of walking and dancing with bare feet, to digestive disrupt from eating a simple plant based diet, to emotional reintegration of feeling herself as a human-animal and part of...
