Brosnan is a Cayuse native from N.E. Oregon. She lives with the seasons gathering and tending land as a life way with her family. As a traditional indigenous mother, she home schools her daughter Meadow Sunrise and has her own business as a Massage Therapist. She loves to weave baskets, tan hides, bead, make medicines, gather with woman, sing, and remember together what it is to be apart of the web that connects us all.
Every season she and her family gather their first foods to sustain themselves throughout the year. She is also a longhouse gatherer for her tribe, this means she gathers roots and berries for throughout the year for her tribes ceremonies. All along the way tending the land, taking care of it as it has taken care of her.
Brosnan will be sharing how to make Tule Mats, These mats have been used since time immemorial by her people to dry foods on, make shelter,and for ceremonies.
