Beginning cheese making- chevre

Humans have been making cheese for ages as a way to preserve milk in a more stable product. In this beginning cheesemaking class, we will look at the art and science of turning milk into cheese.
Chevre is a fresh goat’s milk cheese that normally takes 2 days to make. Aiyah will lead students through a condensed version of this process, while the participants can experience all the steps of making this delicious cheese. We will culture, drain and flavor our finished cheese.
I will be bringing local, organic goat’s milk to use and you will be able to take some delicious cheese with you!
