Amber Marie Deen

Amber Marie Deen (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist, folk herbalist, and facilitator, residing in Muscogee Creek territory of Oklahoma. She is a practitioner of meditative and improvisational movement as a means to explore our inner landscapes.

Amber comes from a long lineage of diaspora and honors multiple cultural traditions and bloodlines through celebrations, rituals, and long pilgrimages of offerings and movement prayers to sacred spaces of Mother Earth.

Her creative work focuses on Spirit, the sacred feminine, and human processes of grief, love, and beauty of healing through surrender. Her post graduate site specific performances and films have been witnessed in art galleries, museums, and choreography festivals.

Amber has specialized training in Social Emotional Learning, movement pedagogy, nature mentorship, Waldorf, and as a doula. She continues her education in somatics, embodiment, and trauma-informed practices of consent and touch by reading books and attending classes with other body workers and practitioners.

In Amber’s classes you can expect to be honored in your capacity to experience play, awe, and pleasure all while being safely held and without judgment.
