Amber Field is a queer non-binary Korean American adoptee performer, teacher and sound healer featured in San Francisco Magazine’s Best of the Bay for yoga music. They trained in Somatic Voicework and are a Tamalpa Associate Teacher of Expressive Arts. Amber has performed and taught at SF Jazz, SF Pride, Wanderlust, Esalen, the Yoga Journal Conference, Grace Cathedral, UC Berkeley and Santa Cruz, and festivals and retreats around the world. Amber studied Western and Indian classical music and plays didgeridoo, djembe, Arabic tambourine, esraj, harmonium, Native flute, harmonica, piano, and sings like an angel. A specialist in world fusion music, Amber is known for their passionate, heartfelt music.
They especially delight in freeing people’s voices and lives! Amber teaches both private and group free your voice and free your voice while drumming 10-week classes in the Bay Area and online. They also offer grief medicine rituals, ancestral legacies classes, expressive arts rites of passage sessions, and sound baths. Amber Field’s Caravan latest album Serendip is now available.
